Sept. 1 street date. EARTH AND FIRE are legends of the Dutch rock scene, first making an impression with their debut single 'Seasons' in 1969. They quickly established themselves as an international act thanks to the excellence of the material on this, their debut album, and the powerful vocals of Jerney Kaagman in 1970. Released in the UK on the highly collectable Nepentha label in 1971 with a sleeve designed by Roger Dean, the bands eponymous debut was a superb collection of material with a progressive edge. This Esoteric Recording has been newly re-mastered and includes two bonus tracks, fully restored artwork and a new essay.

This Esoteric Recordings release joins reissues of Earth And Fire's first two albums to mark the definitive editions of the band's "progressive" works. Newly re-mastered, this edition includes fully restored artwork and a new essay.
June 28 street date. ESOTERIC RECORDINGS is pleased to release classic 1975 album by Dutch Progressive Rock group EARTH & FIRE, “To the World of the Future”. Featuring charismatic vocalist JERNEY KAAGMAN (one of the few female vocalists in 70s Prog Rock), EARTH & FIRE was one of the finest bands to emerge from Holland in the early 1970s. Scoring a series of international hits, by 1975 the band had begun to adopt the use of synthesisers alongside the Mellotron in their music. One of their final concept albums, “To The World of the Future” was Dutch hit upon its release in April 1975. This Esoteric Recordings reissue is newly re-mastered and fully restores the original album artwork. This edition also includes five bonus tracks taken from the band’s singles released between June 1974 and February 1976.
March 31 street date. Non-returnable CD. In the sixties and seventies there’s an explosion of dutch beat groups. The typical "Nederbeat sound" conquered the charts back then. It’s noticeable most of these bands came from Den Haag ( The Hague ), The Haque became the Dutch Liverpool . A new 2CD series from Dutchbands from the era ‘The Golden Years of Dutch Pop Music’. Each title has A sides and B sides from the singles in chronological order. The first batch of five bands were released november 2014: Cuby + Blizzards, Q65, The Outsiders, The Motions & Livin’ Blues. After the first succesfull batch five new titles will be released on march 27th : Golden Earrings, Sandy Coast, ZZ en de Maskers, Kayak en Earth and Fire. The Golden Years of Dutch Pop Music’ come in deluxe digipack with booklet ,exclusive photos and liner notes by Robert Haagsma (note that liner notes are in dutch ).
November 11 street date. Earth And Fire was formed by Dutch brothers Chris and Gerard Koerts on guitar and keys respectively. The first classic line-up featured vocalist Manuela Berloth, who was later replaced by Jerney Kaagman with her recognizable voice, and included bass player Hans Ziech and drummer Ton van der Kleij. After becoming the supporting act for Barry Hay's The Golden Earrings a crucial time arrived in their career, the George Kooymans' written "Seasons" provided Earth And Fire with their first hit and an album filled with own work followed. "Ruby Is The One", "Wild And Exciting", "Storm And Thunder" and "Maybe Tomorrow, Maybe Tonight" and "Memories" were impressive and successful singles and cracked the Dutch Top 10. Following their philosophical lyrical albums they scored the biggest hit of their career with "Weekend" which not only scored big in the Netherlands but had similar results in Germany, Switzerland, Belgium and other European countries. Next to the hits, there are a plethora of B side singles "Song Of The Marching Children", "Theme From Atlantis", the seven part "Excerpts From To The World Of The Future" and many more to be found on the double vinyl album. 180 gram audiophile vinyl.
