October 9 street date for CD / November 27 for LP (date change). The Garden is a constantly evolving, conceptual punk band based in Orange County, California, now releasing their new album haha as part of a burgeoning partnership between Epitaph Records and legendary DIY label Burger Records. Established in 2011 by twin brothers Wyatt and Fletcher Shears, the Garden consistently defies categorization and continues to break ground: auditory invaders of the new world, borderless, released from all constraint and old ideologies. The twins draw inspiration from a background in punk classicism but remain unfettered and unselfconscious enough to infuse elements of 90s hip hop and big beat electronica. Their two-piece bass and drums essence is dirty, raw and very immediate, but equally nuanced with echoes of the hive mind, the ephemeral architecture that exists both inside and outside of the duo that the listener enters and never quite escapes. Together the twins are an acidic concoction; unstable, sexy and probably toxic. Produced by Rob Schnapf (Beck, FIDLAR, Tokyo Police Club) For fans of Ariel Pink, Girls, John Maus, Panda Bear. LP Includes download!

The term represents total freedom of expression without boundaries or guidelines of any sort. “Why strive to be a part of a scene when you can create your own? Vada Vada is an alternative reality that we put ourselves into so we don’t have to fit in” explains Wyatt.

March 13 street date. THE GARDEN have been carving their own path since their formation in 2011. With 3 LP’s and 4 EP releases, they have become known musically for their fast, punk influenced jungle and DnB styles, and have consistently touring since 2013.While live, they are known for a mix of aggressive, unpredictable and trickster-ish tendencies - this new album, Kiss My Super Bowl Ring rivals the previous albums lyrically and sonically with an unmatched belligerence. The album is primarily self-produced, but includes tracks co-produced by the likes of Dylan Brady and Wharfwit, along with tracks featuring Ariel Pink and Khalif Jones (aka Le1f) and even a snippet from Carrot Top. The album shows it’s first bit of skin with the opening track, “Clench To Stay Awake” - a track based off the experiences of both brothers mysterious health issues over the years. November 29 street date. Garden Centre are a band that encompass the childish wonder of our every day. On their self-titled debut they deconstructed the thoughts and feelings of a friendship group forged in the fires of forgotten spaces. In 2018's follow up ' Monster Energy' they tackled energy drink consumption and semi-rural exploration. Now, on their new album ‘A Moon For Digging’, they’ve reaffirmed their ability to look at the world a little differently. Conveying simple, starry-eyed narratives with a tentative sense of optimism, Garden Centre’s sweet, playground melodies will urge you to look up from your phone and notice the little things; the hidden things. Written over the last three years, this is the first Garden Centre album to be recorded with a full band (with songwriter Max Levy backed up by members of Porridge Radio). The collaboration has pushed Levy’s unconventional approach to songwriting into focus. While there’s plenty of pop hooks and tender lyricism, the structures show that Garden Centre can be both sparse and sporadic. It’s this unexpected, modest attitude that highlight the ethos of the band – making songs for the sake of art, making art so you can make sense of the world and making that art with your friends, so you can make sense of the world, together. Having built up a strong following in the DIY scene, ‘A Moon For Digging' will see Garden Centre soar to new (possibly intergalactic) heights.
July 8 street date. This is the debut album by the Garden Music Project and features music inspired by the paintings on PINK FLOYD founder SYD BARRETT. The release is timed to coincide with the eighth anniversary of Syd Barrett’s passing in 2006. The music on this release can be best described as an epic interpretation of Syd Barrett’s paintings using Synesthesia perceptions. A unique masterpiece of 12 tracks that truly reflect the early artistic concept of Pink Floyd founder Syd Barrett and his music legacy in modern times.
Finally the time has come for GARDEN OF WORM to release a full length album. For quite some time now they've been slowly putting out demos and EPs to experiment and carve out their own unique brand of Heavy/Progressive Doom Metal. I'd say they've definitely found their own dramatic sound here with this new material. The elements of Progressive is very dominant, with sounds that range from upbeat to mournful in a blink of an eye. This is an extremely wavy ride to get on and it's going to require repeated listens and your undivided attention to fully absorb and appreciate this work of art. Revelation and Against Nature fans will probably be attracted to this album the most as it is similar in the approach, but the execution pans out to be much different.
An absolutely underrated band, Gardenian were extremely important in the development of the melodic death metal subgenre. This reissue combines their 1999 and 2000 albums. 'Soulburner' featured guest clean vocals by Eric Hawk of cult Norwegian band Artch.
May 10 street date. GARDENS have this great Detroit sound that just make you want to shake your drunk ass all over the place. They've really honed that stripped down 70s sound, but have somehow managed to maintain all the weirdness of the 60s pop explosion.

July 5 street date. GARDENS & VILLA channel all the taut pop precisions of 90s Britpop of bands like Blur (borrowed from the 60s anyhow), and send it through an 80s synth filter both undeniably coastal and modern. It's Spoon's 'Kill The Moonlight' lost in a daydream, but with that same hungry energy. Gardens & Villa may simultaneously pull from Gary Numan, The Kinks and odder prog within one composition. And like a fine sweet tea, it's made just that right kind of sugary - though even the most upbeat tunes have an undercurrent of the bittersweet and the lost at heart.

January 28 street date. As the essential PERE UBU rhythm section from the 1970s through the early 1990s, SCOTT KRAUSS and TONY MAIMONE collaborated during Ubu's early 1980s hiatus as HOME AND GARDEN, where they blazed their own trail of avant-rock-not without some assistance from Cleveland's art-rock creme de la creme. "Flim Flam" was originally written by Krauss and JIM JONES (during the sessions that yielded Pere Ubu songs "Come Home," "Kathleen" "Last Will and Testament," and "Fedora Satellite II") although it was never submitted to Ubu for consideration. Its appearance here, with Jones on guitars and keyboards, and KEITH KORNAJCIK handling the vocals and lyrics, is the first. On the flip, "From Blake" showcases the guitar, bass, and sax talents of founding Pere Ubu guitaris TOM HERMAN (who also led the avant-rock power trio TRIPOD JIMMIE with Len Bove). Assembled around LINDA HERMAN's performance of a poem by William Blake, the song is a tour de force. Includes free download code.
April 23 street date. Doubtful Sounds said about this album, "Sad synth music is the perfect combination to our ears - that mix of synthetic, digital sounds and melancholic human emotion." Lo-fi said, "Get lost in this electronic 80s lofi atmosphere that they're clearly mastering very very well." For fans of Animal Collective, Tears for Fears, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, Ariel Pink, Drab Majesty, Windows 96, George Clanton, and Washed Out.
October 23 street date. Packed with catchy, imaginative songs and elaborate arrangements, the sole album by this New York quintet is among the more enduring obscurities of the psychedelic era. It sank without trace on original release in May 1969, but has drawn comparison with the work of The Beatles, The Zombies and The Left Banke in recent years. Digitally remastered. Features the complete original artwork.
